Elon Musk announced Grok, an AI model, the first AI chatbot by xAI. It will be available to all Premium subscribers on X.
In the xAI Post on X, the company revealed that “Grok is an AI modeled after the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, so intended to answer almost anything and, far harder, even suggest what questions to ask!”
Grok is designed in such a way that it can answer in a humours way and the company calls it a “rebellious streak”. The company aims to develop AI tools that support humanity in its pursuit of comprehension and wisdom, and Grok has been designed to respond to inquiries with a touch of humor.
X (Twitter) is owned by Musk. It’s not the same as xAI, but they work closely together. xAI also works with Musk’s electric car company, Tesla, and some other companies.
