He said that Artificial Intelligence could be used to create harmful chemical and biological weapons. 

While there is some debate about the extent of these dangers, he also talked about the potential of AI. He made the following remarks in a speech where he aimed to showcase the UK as a global leader in AI. 

He mentioned that AI is already generating job opportunities and it will boost economic growth and productivity. However, he also mentioned the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the labor market as it will replace jobs too and we cannot deny this fact. Prime Minister Sunak believes that education is the key to preparing individuals for these shifts in the job market. He points out that technological advancements have historically transformed how people earn a living.

During his speech, PM Sunak also discussed the capabilities and potential risks associated with AI, such as cyberattacks, fraud, and child sexual abuse, which were highlighted in a government report. He also highlighted the concern that terrorist groups could use AI to create more significant fear and misuse it.

Still, the thoughts of the PM about AI seem optimistic. While addressing the risk of AI causing harm to humanity, Prime Minister Sunak emphasized that there is no need to panic right now.
